Charles was born on October 30th, 1895. Charles' father was Daniel Hext ROWLANDS and his mother was Ada TOUZEAU.  His maternal grandparents were William TOUZEAU and Mary Ann Eliza WALDEN. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John Henry, Daniel Hext, William, George, Edward Walden, May Mary, Rosalie and Ada.  He was the second youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 52 on June 23rd, 1948.
