Charles Roy was born on September 29th, 1899. Charles Roy's father was Alfred MORRIS and his mother was Cathleen HODGKINS.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas MORRIS and Elizabeth WAY; his maternal grandparents were George HODGKINS and Mary Ann WHITE. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Sidney Alfred, Alfred, Edward Victor, Arthur Llewellyn, William Douglas, Stanley Caradoc, Isabel, Rosie, Louise Blanche, Winifred, Alice Grace, Kathleen Rhoda and Constance Stella.  He was the fifth youngest of the fourteen children.  He died at the age of 66 on March 30th, 1966 in Mareeba.
