Lawrence was born on March 11th, 1943 in District Hospital, Charters Towers, Qld delivered by Dr Finkle - Nurse Waters.1  Lawrence's father was Walter Lawrence Oshyer and his mother was Myrtle Heather Stout.  His paternal grandparents were Peter John Thomas Ogier (Oshyer) and Janet Elizabeth McAllister; his maternal grandparents were Victor Harold Stout and Ida Myrtle Pardon. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Graham, Peter, Denice and Anita.  He was the second oldest of the five children.  He died in an accident or as a result of an injury, Motor Cycle accident causing head injuries, at the age of 28 on December 23rd, 1971 in General Hospital, Townsville, Queensland.  He was buried in Townsville, Queensland, Australia.2 2
