Qld Death Cert No. 1904/C2015 states that the death of Mary Ann Eliza STOUT was registered in Queensland in 1904. Her father's name was recorded as Archibald Boardman CONNOR and her mother's name was recorded as Jane CONNOR (nee Williams).

"Mrs. M. A. Stout, who died on Thursday last, was an old resident of Queensland, arriving In Brisbane in 1864. Mrs. Stout afterwards resided on a station outside Rockhampton, where she was married to Mr. Wlnkel. Mr. and Mrs. Winkel came north, and settled in Mlllchester in 1872, where Mr. Winkel had a blacksmlth's-shop. Subsequently he conducted the same business on the allotment now occupied by Mr. Wm. Watt, draper, Mosman Street. In 1878 Mr. Wlnkel died and deceased afterwards married Mr. Christopher Stout, who passed away in 1889. Mrs. Stout, who had attained a great age, succumbed to pneumonia. She leaves a grown up family, one of whom is the wlfe of Mr. R. J. Fisher, the well-known rifle shot. Deceased, who was highly respected was among the first few women to venture on to the the then young and lively field."
There was a Mary Ann STOUT, aged 57, who died of Breast Cancer and was buried in the Lynd Monu, Charters Towers Cemetery, Charters Towers Qld on the 3rd February 1904 - according to the Charters Towers Cemetery Register.
