"Mrs. M. A. Stout, who died on Thursday last, was an old resident of Queensland, arriving In Brisbane in 1864. Mrs. Stout afterwards resided on a station outside Rockhampton, where she was married to Mr. Wlnkel. Mr. and Mrs. Winkel came north, and settled in Mlllchester in 1872, where Mr. Winkel had a blacksmlth's-shop. Subsequently he conducted the same business on the allotment now occupied by Mr. Wm. Watt, draper, Mosman Street. In 1878 Mr. Wlnkel died and deceased afterwards married Mr. Christopher Stout, who passed away in 1889. Mrs. Stout, who had attained a great age, succumbed to pneumonia. She leaves a grown up family, one of whom is the wlfe of Mr. R. J. Fisher, the well-known rifle shot. Deceased, who was highly respected was among the first few women to venture on to the the then young and lively field."

There was a Mary Ann STOUT, aged 57, who died of Breast Cancer and was buried in the Lynd Monu, Charters Towers Cemetery, Charters Towers Qld on the 3rd February 1904 - according to the Charters Towers Cemetery Register.

Qld Death Cert No. 1967/C349 states that the death of George Thomas STOUT was registered in Queensland in 1967 - Neither of his parents were listed in the extract that I had access to but from other research his father's name was recorded as George Brown STOUT and his mother's name was recorded as Mary STOUT (nee Connor) .

There is another Queensland Death Certificate No. 1971/C4133 that states that the death of George Thomas STOUT was registered in Queensland in 1971 - Neither of his parents were listed in the extract that I had access to but from other research his father's name was recorded as George Brown STOUT and his mother's name was recorded as Mary STOUT (nee Connor).

I am aware of only one George Thomas STOUT.

 

Qld Birth Cert No. 1887/C10254 states that the birth of David John STOUT was registered in Queensland in 1887. His father's name was recorded as George Brown STOUT and his mother's name was recorded as Mary STOUT (nee Connor) 

Qld Death Cert No. 1913/C4731 states that the death of David John STOUT was registered in Queensland in 1913. His father's name was recorded as George Brown STOUT and his mother's name was recorded as Mary STOUT (nee Connors)

Qld Birth Cert No. 1889/C10974 states that the birth of Elizabeth STOUT was registered in Queensland in 1889.Her father's name was recorded as George Brown STOUT and her mother's name was recorded as Mary STOUT (nee Connor) 

Qld Death Cert No. 1889/C4560 states that the death of Elizabeth STOUT was registered in Queensland in 1889. Her father's name was recorded as George Brown STOUT and her mother's name was recorded as Mary STOUT (nee Connor)

West End Cemetery, Townsville Qld records state that Elizabeth STOUT was 6 days old when she died.

Qld Birth Cert No. 1895/C11702 states that the birth of Victor Harold Stout was registered in Queensland in 1895. The extract does not list the name of his father but his mother's name is recorded as Mary STOUT (nee Connor). From other research his father's name was recorded as George Brown STOUT.

Qld Death Cert No. 1971/C6818 states that the death of Victor Harold STOUT was registered in Queensland in 1971 - Neither of his parents were listed in the extract that I had access to but from other research his father's name was recorded as George Brown STOUT and his mother's name was recorded as Mary STOUT (nee Connor).

Townsville Cemetery Records have recorded that Victor Harold STOUT was aged 86 at the time of his death.
