William John McAllister

William was born on August 26th, 1890 in Queensland.¹   William's father was William McAllister and his mother was Isabella Cairns Bell. He had a brother and four sisters, named Thomas, Janet, Isabella, Ellen and Jessie.  He was the second oldest of the six children.  He died due to a medical problem, Lateral Sinus Thrombosis - Blood Clot, at the age of 51 on December 4th, 1941 in Charters Towers, Qld.  He was buried on December 5th, 1941 in Lynd Monu, Charters Towers Cemetery, Charters Towers Qld.^2 3

  Qld Death Cert No. 1941 / C4583 states that the death of William John McALLISTER was registered in country Queensland in 1941. His father's name was recorded as William McALLISTER and his mother's name was recorded as Isabella Cairns McALLISTER (nee Bell).
