Jessie's father was William McAllister and her mother was Isabella Cairns Bell. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, William, Janet, Isabella and Ellen.  She was the youngest of the six children.  She died as an infant, Convulsions, at 11 months old on December 16th, 1898 in Charters Towers, Qld.  She was buried on December 17th, 1898 in Charters Towers Cemetery, Qld.^1 1

  Qld Death Cert No. 1898 / C2746 states that the death of Jessie McALLISTER was registered in country Queensland in 1898. Her father's name was recorded as William McALLISTER while her mother's name was recorded as Isabella Cairns McALLISTER (nee Bell).
