Daniel (Dan) Joseph Halberstater 
Daniel, known as Dan, was born on December 24th, 1935. Dan's father was Cecil John Halberstater and his mother was Phyllis Evelyn Palmer. His paternal grandparents were Louis Halberstater and Mary Agnes Sheehan; his maternal grandparents were Arthur John Palmer and Mary (May) Hetherington Scurfield. He had four sisters named Marie, Doreen, Maureen and Josephine. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 61 on March 5th, 1997 in Brisbane, Qld.
