All their childrend baptisms were recorded there (with some if not all at Longwood Chapel). Davids baptism confirms the mother as Sarah.

1772 to 1781 John was a mason at Berry Brow when Betty, Richard, John, Mary and Hannah were baptised (no occupation recorded for Betty's baptism).

1784 to 1799 John was a mason at Felkstile, Crosland Hill when Richard, Sarah and David baptised and son John died in 1799

In 1789, John was living at Spring Gardens, near Crosland Hill, and just West of Golcar). 

In 1805, John was still at Crosland Hiill when his son James died, aged 7. 1751 Sarah Gledhill Name Sarah confirmed on Death record for son James.  Sarah Gledhill record matches perfectly.

Christeniong record shows Sarah's father was James.  There's many christening records for the Gledhill family in Almondbure in this period, so must have been quite a common name and/or large family. 1787 Sarah Stocks 1787, Sarah, daughter of John Stocks (and Sarah), of Felkstile (i.e. Felks Stile Road, Crosland Hill), Mason. 1778 Mary Stocks Mary & Hannah, daughters of John Stocks of Berry Brow, Mason 1775 - 1799 John Stocks 24 24 1785 Richard Stocks 1781 Hannah Stocks 1789 Phebe Stocks 1791 - 1848 Noah Stocks 57 57 1797 - 1805 James Stocks 7 7 1799 Mally Stocks 1799 Sally Stocks 1800 John Stocks Probably Married Ann Harvey in Almondbury on 17 JUL 1820  1787 - 1860 Mary Frith 73 73 1822 - 1889 Sarah Stocks 67 67 Sarah's mother mistakenly indexed as Mary Smith instead of Frith, but fairly certain it should be Frith like all the others.
There is no Other Noah Stocks who could be married to a Smith!

Sarah was still with parents Noah and Mary in June 1841. 11 Jul 1791, Betty Stocks married Richard Baxter.  This may be another as this Betty was shown to be from Honley (1851 census).  25 Mar 1799 Betty Stocks (maybe this)  married Nathaniel Gatt.  Elizabeth Gott of Dock Street died in Nov 1837, aged 66 so correct age !

In 1841, Richard and Betty Baxter (both 70) were at Lane Top, Lockwood with sons Thomas (40) and John (35)

In 1851, Betty (79, born Honley) was with her sons Thomas (51) and John (46) at Lockwood, Linthwaite. Alice Frith 1796 David Stocks David born at Felkstile, between Crosland Hill and Golcar.

Joseph died in 1893, and Betty (aged 66) remarried William Parr in 1901.

Inh 1901, Betty (Wid, 65) was living with her son Tom Garside a Stone Mason, wife Annie and family at 45 Barton Road, Lockwood.

Betty Parr died in 1922 1838 Joseph (Josiah) Stocks In 1841, "Josiah" (3) was at Lockwood.

In 1851, "Joseph" (13) was at Lockwood. 1839 Emma Stocks 1771 - 1846 Richard Baxter 75 75 In 1841, Richard and Betty Baxter (both 70) were at Lane Top, Lockwood with sons Thomas (40) and John (35)
