Catherine Woodward

Catherine was born in June 1842 in Toxteth Park and her baptism took place on June 4th, 1843 in Liverpool.¹²

Catherine's father was John Woodward and her mother was Mary Malley. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Woodworth (Woodward) and Elizabeth Tomkins. She had five brothers and a sister, named Daniel, John, James, James, Ann and Mary. She was the sixth oldest of the seven children.

- In 1861, Catherine, aged 17 and sister-in-law, was living with Michael and Ellen Stokes (both 32) at Toxteth Park. Her father John Woodward (Wid, 56) was also present.
