Robert Walsh or Welsh, probably the son of Robert and Mary, baptised in 1808. His age varies a little over time, but always the same age as his wife Mary Mather.
In 1826, Robert, a weaver, and Mary were married at St Mary's, Deane.
In 1841, Robert and Mary (both 35) were at Buttenhouse Green, Hyde with Robert (9), Hannah (5) and William (5 mo). They were living with Thomas Isherwood (40).
In 1851, Robert and Mary (both 41, born Edgworth) were living in Little Hulton with Robert (19). Hannah (14), Wiliiam (10), Betsey (7), Mary Ann (5) and Emma (2).
