John Walmsley

John was born in 1834 in Halliwell and his baptism took place on June 7th, 1835 at St. Peter's (Bolton).^1 2

John's father was James Walmsley and his mother was Nancy Turner. He had a brother and four sisters, named William, Rachael, Alice, Sarah and Tabitha.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 23 in July 1857 in Halliwell.  He was buried on July 7th, 1857 at St. Mary (Deane).³
