James Walmsley

James was born on April 1st, 1808 in Bolton and his baptism took place on May 28th, 1808 at Bank Street Unitarian.¹²

- Still alive, 42, widow in 1851 at Manchester.
  
  James does not appear to be buried with his wife. Theres a James Walmsley (1817-1847) buried at Manchester Cathederal, but this cant be him.

General Notes
- James Walmsley was the unconfirmed son of John and Alice. There is no baptism record, but from 1805 to 1813 there were none for John and Alice. However, it now seems more likely James is the son of John Walmsly and Tabitha Morris (married 1791).
  
  In 1841, James a Hand (loom) weaver and Nancy (both 30) were at Sidney Street, E Bolton with their five children.
  
  In 1851, James was with his daughters Rachael and Tabitha at Manchester but missinmg by 1861.

Occupation Details
- From 1833 James' occupation was Weaver in Halliwell.
  
  From 1841 his occupation was Hand Loom Weaver at Sidney Street.
