James does not appear to be buried with his wife. Theres a James Walmsley (1817-1847) buried at Manchester Cathederal, but this cant be him.
General Notes
James Walmsley was the unconfirmed son of John and Alice. There is no baptism record, but from 1805 to 1813 there were none for John and Alice. However, it now seems more likely James is the son of John Walmsly and Tabitha Morris (married 1791).
In 1841, James a Hand (loom) weaver and Nancy (both 30) were at Sidney Street, E Bolton with their five children.
In 1851, James was with his daughters Rachael and Tabitha at Manchester but missinmg by 1861.
