James Wainright

James was born on December 25th, 1765 in Warrington and his baptism took place on January 5th, 1766 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

James' father was John Wainright and his mother was Margaret Mather. His maternal grandparents were John Mather and Ellen Blinstone. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Thomas, Charles, Alice, Alice, Margaret and Martha. He was the oldest of the eight children.
