Esther Townley

Esther was born in 1852 in Bolton.¹ Esther's father was Richard Townley and her mother was Alice Mather. Her maternal grandparents were William Mather and Esther Dewhurst. She had a brother and a sister, named William and Ann. She was the oldest of the three children.
