Birth Notes

Jane's father was John Taylor and her mother was Peggy (Margaret) Scowcroft Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Solomon Mather and Jane Scowcroft. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Arthur, John, Elizabeth, Amelia and Clara. She was the second oldest of the six children.
