Luke Stocks

Luke was born in 1787 in Almondbury and his christening took place there on February 4th, 1788.¹

Luke's father was David Stocks and his mother was Isabel Lodge.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Stocks and Sara Wilkinson; his maternal grandparents were Joshua Lodge and Isabel Morehouse. He had two brothers and a sister, named Frank, David and Hannah. He had a half-brother named John.  He died at the age of 48 in March 1835 in Manchester.  He was buried on March 22nd, 1835 in Manchester.^2 2

‌Luke and Rebecca were married in a religious ceremony on April 4th, 1809 at St. Peter (Liverpool).³   The family line is yet to be completed.
