Frank was born in 1785 in Almondbury and his christening took place there on December 26th, 1785.¹

Frank's father was David Stocks and his mother was Isabel Lodge.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Stocks and Sara Wilkinson; his maternal grandparents were Joshua Lodge and Isabel Morehouse. He had two brothers and a sister, named Luke, David and Hannah. He had a half-brother named John.  He died at the age of 1 in December 1786 in Berry Brow.  He was buried on December 19th, 1786 in Almondbury.^2 2
