Marion was born on October 28th, 1901 in Malpas and her baptism took place there on December 22nd, 1901.¹²

Birth Notes

Marion's father was Smith Augustus Salt and her mother was Annie Richards. Her maternal grandparents were Richard Richards and Mary Jane Tomkin. She had two brothers and four sisters, named George, Jeffrey, Ruth, Myra, Nancy and Alice. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 75 on December 9th, 1976 in Somerset.³
