George Henry Salt

George was born in 1895 in Malpas and his baptism took place there on April 3rd, 1895.¹²

George's father was Smith Augustus Salt and his mother was Annie Richards. His maternal grandparents were Richard Richards and Mary Jane Tomkin. He had a brother and five sisters, named Jeffrey, Ruth, Myra, Nancy, Alice and Marion. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
