Thomas Ramsbottom

Thomas was born in 1800 in Whitefield and his baptism took place on March 23rd, 1800 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Prestwich).¹

Thomas' father was Thomas Ramsbottom and his mother was Margaret Mather. His maternal grandparents were William Mather and Elizabeth (Betty) Ingram. He had five brothers and four sisters, named James, John, Robert, Richard, James, Mary, Jane, Betty and Ann.
