Charles' father was Charles Phythian and his mother was Anne Falconer. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Paul, Thomas, Charles, Thomas, Mary, Anne, Jane and Margaret.  He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 1 in March 1746 in Shocklach.  He was buried on March 30th, 1746.¹
