John Oxton

John was born in March 1863 in Little Neston.¹

John's father was John Oxton and his mother was Margaret Edwards. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Oxton and Rachel Williams. He had a brother and two sisters, named David, Winifred and Sarah. He was the oldest of the four children.
