John Naylor 
John was born in 1879 in Little Bolton.1 John's father was Samuel Naylor and his mother was Hannah Mather. His maternal grandparents were Ralph Entwistle and Alice Mather. Thomas Mather and Hannah (Ann) Kirkham were his grandparents through his mother's adoption. He had a brother and a sister, named Samuel and Sarah. He was the youngest of the three known children.-
