William was born in 1753 in Pentrobin and his baptism took place on March 11th, 1753 in Hawarden.1  William's father was William Millington and his mother was Elizabeth (Mary) Hewitt. He had a brother and four sisters, named George, Rachel, Mary, Rachel and Jane.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 78 in 1831.
