Mary was born in 1760 in Pentrobin and her baptism took place on January 13th, 1760 in Hawarden.1  Mary's father was William Millington and her mother was Elizabeth (Mary) Hewitt. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William, George, Rachel, Rachel and Jane.  She was the third youngest of the six children.
