Rachel was born in December 1764 in Pentrobin and her baptism took place on December 25th, 1764 in Hawarden.1  Rachel's father was William Millington and her mother was Elizabeth (Mary) Hewitt. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William, George, Rachel, Mary and Jane.  She was the fifth oldest of the six children.
