The first is more likely as William's first son was John, and he had a Hannah (not Ann). Weaverham is 11 miles E of Thornham-le-Moors where William and Sarah lived. Witton-cum-Twambrooks is further E of Northwich.

WARNING: I am expecting a DNA match to the Millingtons from Hawarden, and there is another William Millington born about 1786, but he married Mary. They also had sons George (1808-1820), and then another b.1823. The George her is clearly baptised and married as "George Youd Millington".
1821 to 1834 Possible brothers George and Thomas (and also Mary) were also having children baptised at Plemonstall
In 1818-24, sons John, George and Thomas were baptised at Thornton-le-Moors, Cheshire.
In 1841, William Millington (50), was a tailor at Plemonstall, Cheshire with wife Sarah (45). They had Sarah (14), Jesse (11), Hannah (9), Alfred (8) and John (2)
William and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony on September 23rd, 1817 in Thornton-le-Moors.5 They had six sons and two daughters, named John, George, Thomas, Jesse, Alfred, John, Sarah and Hannah. There are no more children.
