Thomas was born on October 20th, 1782 in Weaverham and his baptism took place there on November 10th, 1782.1 2  Thomas' father was John Millington and his mother was Mary Gibbons. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, William, Richard, Betty, Margaret and Nancy.  He was the oldest of the seven known children.
