Susanna , known as Susan, was born in July 1760 in Pentrobin and her baptism took place on July 4th, 1760 in Hawarden.1 2  Susan's father was John Millington and her mother was Susannah Bannion. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Edward, John, Jane, Elizabeth, Ann and Mary.  She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.

‌Susan and Richard were married in a religious ceremony on February 12th, 1786 in Hawarden.2  They had two sons and a daughter, named Richard, Edward and Elizabeth.  There are possibly more children.
