Jane was born in 1750 in Pentrobin and her baptism took place on March 18th, 1750 in Hawarden.1  Jane's father was John Millington and her mother was Susannah Bannion. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Edward, John, Elizabeth, Ann, Susan and Mary.  She was the oldest of the eight children.
