Charles' father was William Millington and his mother was Mary Bradshaw.  His paternal grandparents were William Millington and Jane Williams. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William, Daniel, Ellen, Mary, Minnie and Rose.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 35 in August 1927.  He was buried on August 8th, 1927 in Northop.²
