Thomas Mather

Thomas was born in 1825 in Clifton.¹

Thomas' father was James Mather and his mother was Mary Jacks. He had three brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Henry, Peter and Sarah.  He was the oldest of the five children.

‌Thomas and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on April 23rd, 1843 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Eccles).²

They had two sons and a daughter, named James, Samuel and Sarah.  There are possibly more children.
