Richard Mather 
Richard was born about 1589 in Turton. Richard's father was William Mather and his mother was Margaret Mather. He had four brothers named Nicholas, John, William and James. He was the third oldest of the five known children.General Notes
In William's will he names his 5 sons as "Nicholas, John, Richard, William and James" in that order, as also identifies the three latter being the youngest.
