James Mather

James was born about 1593 in Turton. James' father was William Mather and his mother was Margaret Mather. He had four brothers named Nicholas, John, Richard and William. He was the youngest of the five known children.

General Notes
- In William's Will he names his 5 sons as "Nicholas, John, Richard, William and James" in that order, as also identifies the three latter being the younger. Therefore, it is reasonable to assume James is the youngest.
