Nicholas Mather

Nicholas was born about 1580 in Turton. Nicholas' father was William Mather and his mother was Margaret Mather. He had four brothers named John, Richard, William and James. He was the oldest of the five known children. He died in November 1629 in Turton. His burial was on November 5th, 1629 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

- Nicholas of Turton left a Will (1630). There is another Nicholas Mather Will of 1614, an uncle perhaps!
