Nicholas Mather 
Nicholas was born about 1580 in Turton. Nicholas' father was William Mather and his mother was Margaret Mather. He had four brothers named John, Richard, William and James. He was the oldest of the five known children. He died in November 1629 in Turton. He was buried on November 5th, 1629 at St. Peter's (Bolton).1 2 Death Notes

(Although indexed as 1627, the tops of the pages are torne or missing. However, the next page starts with April 1630, so I believe this should be 1629, not 1627).
General Notes
Nicholas of Turton left a Will (1630). There is another Nicholas Mather Will of 1614, an uncle perhaps!

Nicholas and Susannah were married in a religious ceremony on June 19th, 1609 at St. Peter's (Bolton).3 They had four sons and two daughters, named William, James, William, Thomas, Margaret and Elizabeth.
