Peggy was born on July 18th, 1813 in Ainsworth and her baptism took place on October 10th, 1813 at Christ Church, Ainsworth.1  Peggy's father was Samuel Mather and her mother was Betty Walker. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Richard, James, Alice and Sarah.  She was the youngest of the five children.  She died at 6 months old in January 1814 in Ainsworth.  She was buried on January 2nd, 1814 at the St. Matthew (Little Lever).2
