By 1871 Nancy and James had Mary H (aged 2) Emma J (age 1), living at Haworth Street, Little Bolton. Her mother Hannah (widow, age 57) was with them.
In 1881 and 1891, John Mather and Nancy Bowen (brother and sister) were neighbours at 161 and 159 Chorley Old Road, Halliwell.
