Mary Elizabeth Mather

Mary was born in March 1884 in Bolton.¹

Mary's father was John Thomas Mather and her mother was Hannah Joynson. Her paternal grandparents were James Mather and Elizabeth (Betsy) Broom. She had four brothers named James, Charles, Ernest and Fred. She was the second oldest of the five known children.
