Frederick (Fred) Mather

Frederick, known as Fred, was born in March 1891 in Bolton.¹

Fred's father was John Thomas Mather and his mother was Hannah Joynson. His paternal grandparents were James Mather and Elizabeth (Betsy) Broom. He had three brothers and a sister, named James, Charles, Ernest and Mary. He was the youngest of the five known children.
