Mary was born on June 28th, 1806 in Atherton and her baptism took place on July 15th, 1806 in Chowbent.1  Mary's father was Henry Mather and her mother was Charlotte Sidlow.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Mary Mather. She had five brothers and a sister, named John, James, George, Robert, Samuel and Hannah.  She died at the age of 4 on July 9th, 1810 in Chowbent.  She was buried in Chowbent.
