Hannah was born on February 7th, 1824 in Atherton and her baptism took place on February 7th, 1824 in Chowbent.1  Hannah's father was Henry Mather and her mother was Charlotte Sidlow.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Mary Mather. She had five brothers and a sister, named John, James, George, Robert, Samuel and Mary.  Robert and Hannah were twins.
