Esther Ellen Mather

Esther was born in January 1864 in Bolton and her baptism took place on March 27th, 1864 at St. Peter's (Bolton).^1 2

Esther's father was <unknown> and her mother was Ann Mather.  Her maternal grandparents were William Mather and Esther Dewhurst. She had a brother named Thomas.  She was the older of the two children.  She died at the age of 75 on December 5th, 1939 in Bolton.  She was buried in December 1939 at Tonge-with-Haulgh Cemetery.³
