Emma Mather

Emma was born in February 1863 in Ancoats.¹

Emma's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Ellen McCardle.  Her paternal grandparents were John (Mechanic) Mather and Ann Thompson. She had three brothers and a sister, named Joseph, John, James and Eliza.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  She died in February 1863 in Ancoats.  She was buried on February 22nd, 1863 at the Cheetham Hill.^2 1
