Elizabeth Mather

Elizabeth was born in 1834 in Salford.¹

- Aged 5 in 1841, in Greengate, Salford
  Aged 17 in 1851 at Rooden Lane

Elizabeth's father was James Mather and her mother was Mary Dodd. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Thomas, Hannah, Mary and Ann. She was the oldest of the six known children.

General Notes
- In 1851, Elizabeth (17) was living at Rooden Lane, Prestwich with her parents (James a Shoe Maker) and family.
  
  22 Nov 1852, Elizabeth Mather (21) of Rooden Lane, daughter of James a Brick Burner married James Dawson (23) of Rooden Lane at Prestwich St Mary.
  
  Between 1853 and 1873 they had 11 children, with all births registered at Prestwich, Bury.
