Eliza was born in October 1769 in Edensor and her baptism took place there on October 29th, 1769.¹

Birth Notes

Eliza's father was Roland Mather and her mother was Ann Allison. Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Ann Booth. She had a brother and two sisters, named William, Mary and Mary. She was the second youngest of the four children.
