Ann, known as Annie, was born on September 18th, 1859 in Warrington.1  Annie's father was John (Joseph) Mather and her mother was Mary Ann Jones.  Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Martha Antwist. She had three brothers and a sister, named John, William, James and Maria.  She was the oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 74 in February 1934 in Bucklow.
