Ann Mather

Ann was born in 1827 in Middleton and her baptism took place on April 20th, 1828 at St. Leonard (Middleton).^1 2

Ann's father was Richard Mather and her mother was Sarah (Sally) Stewart.  Her paternal grandparents were James Mather and Alice Collinge. She had six brothers named James, John, Richard, William, Luke and Moses.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 73 in May 1900 in Middleton.  She was buried on May 11th, 1900 at St. Leonard (Middleton).³
