Abraham's father was <unknown> and his mother was Anne Mather.  His maternal grandparents were Abraham Mather and Anne Barns. He had a sister named Ann.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died in March 1789 in Haslingden.  He was buried on March 15th, 1789 in Haslingden.¹
