Abraham was born on June 27th, 1760 in Bolton and his baptism took place on July 22nd, 1760 at Bank Street Unitarian conducted by Reverend Philip Holland.1 2  Abraham's father was Abraham Mather and his mother was Elizabeth Saxton.  His paternal grandparents were Peter Mather and Elizabeth (Betty) Cranshaw. He had a brother and a sister, named Richard and Jenny.  He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Abraham, Margaret and Margaret.  He died at 7 months old in January 1761 in Bolton.  He was buried on January 3rd, 1761 in Bolton.3 4
